By accessing and using SailKeeper, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SailKeeper.

2. Service Description

SailKeeper is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for vessel management, offering tools for inventory control, trips, maintenance, finances, and fleet management. The service is accessible via web and mobile devices.

3. User Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify SailKeeper of any unauthorized use of your account. SailKeeper will not be liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to the data you enter into SailKeeper. We grant you the right to export your data at any time. SailKeeper will not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

5. Payment and Subscriptions

SailKeeper offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as per your choice. You may cancel your subscription at any time without penalties. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations, but you will continue to have access until the end of the paid period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SailKeeper only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. It is prohibited to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) infringe intellectual property rights; (c) transmit viruses or malicious code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system; (e) use the service to send spam or unsolicited content.

7. Intellectual Property

SailKeeper and all its content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of SailKeeper and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

SailKeeper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Under no circumstances will SailKeeper be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the platform settings. After termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
